Before we dispose of any piece of equipment containing a hard drive – including copiers, computers, or fax machines – our Information Technology Manager personally pulls the drive, wipes the information, and destroys the drive. If we resell or donate equipment, we purchase new, blank hard drives before the machines leave our office.
